Smoked Cream Cheese

8oz. Packages of cream cheese

  1. Place cream cheese in freezer for about 15-30 minutes

  2. Once time is up, remove cream cheese from freezer

  3. Tear (2) sheets of 12”x12” of aluminum foil

  4. Place (1) block on each of the aluminum sheets

  5. Season the cream cheese with the seasoning of your choice(s)

  6. Score the cheese in a diagonal pattern with a knife. This allows the smoke to penetrate into the cheese block

  7. Set your smoker on 225 and let it heat up to that temperature

  8. Place the cream cheese with aluminum foil on the smoker for 2 to 2.5 hours

  9. Once time is up, remove from smoker, turn off smoker and bring to counter to cool slightly

  10. Once cooled, enjoy with crackers and jelly of your choice
